Week 3 Of TY

Week 3 of Ty has been  the best week yet .
On monday we were all up bright and early for our trip to Carlingford Adventure Centre In o.Louth . Ms.R and Ms.O'c Came with us , we left at 7.30 in the morning and it took us an hour and a half to get there . We had alot of fun on the bus on the way over.
when we got to Carlingford we were straight into activities . We walked up a big hill into a big field where a load fo activities where . We were put into groups And where all given a map and told to find tasks , our first task we had to do was when we had to walk over woden pipes with a big barell and we had to imagine the pipes where water pipes and we had to replace a tank for another tank , We were walking over freezing water and if we fell in we would have to start the whole task again . We didnt complete that task so we didnt get any points (gems) .
Our next task was the Low ropes chlange , it was really hard but it was fun , there was three in each grup and we had to balance on poles , walk over see-saws and  climb through tires hanging on ropes , i thought that that task was the hardest , After that we did a chalange called the ball in gutter , we all had a part of a cutter each and we had to get a ball from one end of the obsticle , and then after that we all had to work as a team to build a bridge over a small amount of water using 2 planks of wood , it took us a while but we got it in the end with only 2 people falling in haha . 
That night we went on a hill walk up the mountains , it took us two hours and at the end we had to crawl under a little tunnel , it was pitch black , i could'nt see a thing , i might aswell of had my eyes closed , there was water flowing through it aswell , it was so fun :) .We also made a raft and jumped of the peir in the sea , and i was in the middle of a kettle , thats like a huricane in the water :) it was so cool !
The next day we went on high ropes , it was really fun , we had to walk across tight ropes and up ladders but of course we were in a harness hahaa .
and then went orienteering up in the moutains , it was pretty fun .
Then we went home on the bus at 5 o'clock ,A few of us fell asleep .
When I got home I fell straight asleep .
The next day i woke up and i was nervious because I was getting my results for my junour cert results , we had  half day and I was delighted with my results ! I enjoyed myself celbrating :)

Week 2 in TY :)

Week 2:

Second week of Ty , I’m getting into the swing of the time table and different classes like careers and mini company etc ..

I have enjoyed it all so far .

On Monday a quest speaker came into the school and we spent the whole day talking about what we want to be when were older , what our interests are and what our personalities are .. I learned that I have a bubbly personality represented by a mad cow :D

On Tuesday for Home economics we got our designs drawn up for our project , and got our plain white t-shirt and trousers, we cut our t-shirt so that it will fit our model .

In Science we are still trying to think of something to do our project on will hopefully have thought of something for next week …

In Pastoral care we wrote on a sheet about our personality and put it up on the wall ( :

In Art we drew a picture of a teddy bear , I didn’t come out to bad J

And in Tech today we used the laptops and we made cubes circles and pyramids :D .

&also for geography we were assigned a project and we have already started doing research for it . We are in a group of 3 we are all doing 2 projects each , Lauren is doing two projects on two  1^st world  countries  , Lauren T. is doing two projects on two 2^nd world countries and I am doing mine on two 3^rd world countries .

First week of TY ( :

First week of TY has been great so far .We have already started a bit of work on the projects in Home economics & Science , we are working in a team on four for my Home economics project , we have to design a outfit starting from scratch with just a pair of white trousers and a plain white T-shirt , it should be great fun :D
   In Science we are working In a group of 3, we are still deciding on what to our project on ..
In Careers we are discussing what we want to do in the future , I would like to have something to do with children so I think I would like to do Montessori teaching.
Not much homework has been assigned , different to all the other years, only in Spanish and history so far ( : 
For Music we are going to be put into groups so that we can form a band together and we will be recorded so that it can be played at the end of the year for TY night.
Pastoral care is a subject that I have not heard of before , our teacher for it is Ms.KB , she said that we will be giving each other manicures and hand massages later on in the year , Can’t wait,.
on Tuesday we wrote about ourself on a big sheet of paper like about our interests and star sign etc… and but it up on the wall .  : D
