Croke Park

On Valentines day all the TYs went to croke park , I thought we were just going to the museum but we got to see everything .

We went under the Hogan stand and the Cusack stand & we also got to go into the changing rooms , they are really nice & most sports home changing rooms are bigger than the away changing rooms but in the GAA the changing rooms are the same which shows equality :D

We also got to go to the real top of the seats in the stadium , its sooooo high up!

After that we went to the "best kept secret" as the tour guide said , It was the lovely lounge that all the teams went to celebrate or comiserate after a match .

It was lovely! There was a lovely light made from waterford crystal and there was crystal footballs and sliotars , there was 32 footballs to represent the counties in Ireland . There is the picture of it >

It changes colours depending on what counties where playing :)

After that we went to the actual museum where there was trophies and medals that where won in previous matches . There was also games that you could play in the museum , there was one that measured the speed that you hit the ball , i got 72/KpH !

It was a great day and i enjoyed it allot :)
